The Life and Legend of Wyatt Earp

As Wyatt and his group enter Arizona they are stopped by a representative of Wells Fargo. He wants the Earps to work for them which they turn down until Wyatt and Doc learn Dave Mather is nearby. They want him for killing Mike de Graff.

Earp decides to ride into Tombstone alone and unarmed to see for himself how bad it is. He finds himself caught in the midst of an ongoing dispute between the miners and Clantons. Mistaken for a cowboy, he is helped by Nellie Cashman.

Earp decides to leave Tombstone but learns the Clantons are gunning for him. Nellie Cashman and Dick Gird want Earp to stay to bring law and order to Tombstone. Earp with Doc's help is forced to fight the Clantons as Earp sets a trap.

When a man rides into Tombstone with three bullets in him, Earp decides to go alone to arrest Old Man Clanton for stealing the man's horses. A concerned Nellie asks Doc to accompany Wyatt. Emma Clanton shows her feelings for Earp.

As Earp prepares to leave Dodge City Mayor Kelley and Judge Tobin want a send off celebration but he doesn't want one for fear of a disturbance. They change his mind as he reminisces about various events during his tenure as Marshal. It

Earp soon learns that the Tombstone newspaper The Nugget is run by a crooked editor who in league with the gangs running Arizona including the Clantons. When he meets an honest ex-newspaperman, Earp pushes him to open the honest Epitaph.

Earp request his old deputy to join him in Tombstone. On the way there Shotgun is asked by the Clanton gang to vote ten times in the Tombstone election for the judge. Earp tells Shotgun to follow through on his agree to do so.

Earp's crackdown on crime in Tombstone is causing big problems for the Clanton gang which in turn is hurting the Ten Percent Ring in Tucson. Old Man Clanton learns there is a plan a foot to change things but he must be patient.

Clum and others want Earp to take a posse after the men he was forced to release but Earp declines. With Behan as the sheriff of the new Cochise County it becomes his task. When they give themselves up, Earp questions Behan's loyalties.

Fed up with Earp's interference, the head of the 10 Percent Ring in Tucson decides to kill Earp. He gives orders to ask Doc Holliday to Tucson for a high stakes poker game as bait to draw an unsuspecting Earp to Tucson to be killed.

Earp is summoned to Fort Huachuca where he is told Old Man Clanton has put a claim in for $7000 of beef stolen by the Apaches. Earp investigates for the Army winning the favor of young Geronimo and a battle against the Clanton gang.

Earp arrests the son of a Mexican for a murder before he crosses the Mexican border. Earp must get his prisoner back to Tombstone but a posse sent by Behan is after the same man as the man's family decide to kill Earp to protect a secret.

Earp's friend Ned Buntline comes to Tombstone hoping Earp will introduce him to the Clantons so he can use them in a new book. Earp decide to have his practical joking friend teach Buntline a lesson about outlaws not being Robinhood.

Major Fletcher asks Earp to help transport a $15,000 Army payroll to the Army fort from Tombstone on the stage with an interesting set of passengers. Bandits attack stage but Earp finds the real threat is different than he thought. It

The heat is on Earp from everyone when Curly Bill Brocius and Johnny Ringo threaten to shoot it out in Tombstone over a dead horse. Each man's side kick keeps the pressure on the two while Doc takes bets on the outcome of the shootout.

Shotgun Gibbs decides that Earp and Nellie Cashman are made for each other and should get married. He sets up a dinner between them which in turn fuels rumors that reach the Emma Clanton and the Clanton boys who take advantage of it.

The Ten Percent Ring wants retribution for the killing of Priddy. Sheriff Behan convinces them that rather than killing Earp or Doc who he suspects killed Priddy to let him have Shotgun Gibbs killed which will discourage Earp.

Wells Fargo asks Earp to help them solve the problem of silver ingots being stolen due to constant thefts on a 30 mile run. Earp suspects an inside source so he devises a plan to confound the thieves and break the entire ring.

Convict Dobie Jenner arrives in Tombstone after being released from Yuma prison for murder. When his old mining partner George McKean sees him in town, he goes to Earp telling him to run Jenner out of town saying he is dangerous.

Dick Gird has hired Irish and Welsh miners to work at the Total Wreck mine but the old country feud between the two nationalities creates constant fights. Contrary to Earp's advice Nellie Cashman believes she can create peace between them.

During the holdup of the stage, the gang leader Tinkham Brown is wounded. Earp wants Doc Goodfellow to tell Earp if the outlaws come after him but Doc Goodfellow refuses. Earp follows him but winds up in a truce with the outlaw gang.

After a warning by Earp Marshal Fred White tries to take the pistol from a drunk Curly Bill Brocius. White's actions cause the gun to fire mortally wounding him. Earp a witness is forced to protect Brocius from a city lynch mob.

Earp rescues a new girl called Silver Dollar from an amorous man in front of the Alhambra where she works and takes her to Nellie Cashman for a new job. Doc and Shotgun think Earp is in love but his wire to Pinkerton says otherwise.

A boy and his mother from Mexico arrive in Tombstone asking Earp to turn over the body of his father who was murdered in Tombstone by a Mr. Granby. Earp has no knowledge of the man or murder but he knows a mild-mannered Granby in town. It

A string of murders occur at Tombstone caused by the Tucson Ten Percent Ring stealing the winning Arizona lottery tickets. Earp gathers proof of the ring's involvement hoping to use the testimony of a winning couple to convict the leader.
