The Pirates Next Door

Matilda accidentally sets the pirate ship loose and it crashes into the school! Grandpa is furious and starts annoying the town with his cannons. Jim, Matilda, Max, and Alexia board the ship to stop him, but it is not easy! Jim tells everyone that his pirate family has a curse. Matilda sets out to prove that Jim is not telling the truth and to keep Mrs. Bevan from making the pirates leave.

Jim finds out his family owes a "debt of honor" to Brent's Family after his great-great-great grandfather was saved by Brent's ancestor. Matilda must help Jim get out of being bossed around by Brent. Jim sets sail with Brent, but they accidentally sail right into a storm! Will everyone come through safe and sound?

Jim discovers that he is a descendant from an expert on manners and he turns into a good-mannered boy. His good manners change when Matilda is captured. After giving Grandpa a feather pen, jealous Squawk, the parrot, thinks Grandpa got another bird and leaves.

Matilda, Max, and Alexia go on an adventure to find real treasure, but Jim tags along to collect the treasure himself. The three will have to find it first to make sure that it becomes their treasure! Brent is elected as class representative and makes being at school awful. Jim is ready to overthrow the dictatorship! After all, pirates only obey a good captain!

Jim takes Nugget on a "mermaid safari" to find a mermaid and has Matilda disguise herself as one. When Nugget finds out the truth, she makes them pay! The town is in panic when the Jolley-Rogers are mistaken to have the Pirate Black Fever because they are speaking gibberish.

Mrs. Bevan makes a new rule to banish all "signs of piracy." Jim and Matilda join her pirate "reform boot camp" and pretend that she has changed them. When the Pirate Code is inflicted on the Jolley-Rogers, the pirate family is left with no roof over their heads and the Winners move next door!

Matilda and Jim get to follow a special person who has their dream job. Matilda picks Grandpa while Jim picks a police officer. But, the jobs turn out to be different than what they expected. The Jolley-Rogers are horrified when Matilda suggests taking sick Jim to the doctor…something that pirates do not do.

After accidentally hypnotizing Mrs. Bevan, she begins to act like a pirate! Jim and Matilda must get her back to normal! All the books about piracy have mysteriously disappeared from the town and, this time, it is not Mrs. Bevan's fault!

The Jolley-Rogers must offer a treasure for the Pirate Communal Fund or they will not be pirates anymore! Matilda and Jim disagree on how to retrieve the treasure. To calm Matilda, who is obsessed with her grades, Jim lets her attend his pirate college where they teach things like treasure hunting. After everyone wants to attend, will she be able to fight the urge to be the best?

Jim uses Mrs. Bevan's secret to make her leave them in peace and she decides to leave forever. Jim discovers that there is no point in being a pirate without an enemy! When the neighboring town has a new roller coaster that attracts all the tourists, Matilda has the idea of creating a Pirate attraction to get the tourists back.

Jim runs away after he accidentally saves Mrs. Bevan and becomes the town hero. But, Matilda is known as a coward because she did nothing. Matilda must save Jim and get their reputations back to normal. Matilda becomes cursed after opening a poisoned treasure chest. She has to do everything written on Grandpa's list to reverse it, and quick!

When Nugget wants to become Captain of the shack, Jim disagrees. He is the captain and she is too young! Furious, Nugget decides to build her own crew. This is war! When Brent steals Jim's sword, Jim loses confidence in his pirate skills. Matilda has to help him find his courage again and prove to him that the sword does not make the pirate.

Jim wants to spend more time with his father, but he begins to feel embarrassed by his father because he is different. What is he going to do? After finding out that sardines are forbidden, the pirates and Matilda open a secret restaurant specialized in pirate food!
