November 5, 1983, a gang of five Italians raids the Museum of Fine Arts in Budapest. The stolen goods are seven of the most important paintings of the Renaissance. After a daring escape, the investigators recover the stolen goods and capture the perpetrators without however coming across a tangle of criminal, political and intelligence networks that, only after 35 years, do we begin to glimpse.
