When petty crook Michael's (Cillian Murphy) debt to Dublin kingpin Perrier (Brendan Gleeson) is called in and one of his goons ends up dead, Michael goes on the run with his father and best friend Brenda. Broke and with only 24 hours to pay up, he's forced to confront his feelings for Brenda and make amends with his dad.
