Mantra (Charmme) a hapless girl is caught in a debt trap and needs to sell her house to get the money. The house has a reputation of being haunted, with all its last few tenants dying. A small-time goon Hero (Sivaji) then offers to stay there with 3 friends to help her sell the house. When one of his friends dies mysteriously, Hero decides to stay until he figures out exactly what is going on.
