Lottie and Maya arrive at their Uncle Whimsey's shop where they will be staying and working all summer. While settling in, Lottie decides to relax and read a book in Uncle Whimsey's library. However, when Maya comes in and tries to pull Lotties book away to show her something, something strange happens. It turns out Whismey's Shop is anything but boring.

Worried that a new game will sell before she gets the chance to play it, she closes up shop. Once they start playing the game, Lottie and Maya shrink.
