Pip and Posy Spotty Dotty

Pip and Posy are playing space explorers. From the window they see a bird's nest with eggs. Pip wants to wait for them to hatch but Posy wants to keep exploring. They play separately but miss each other and decide to use walkie talkies to communicate; Posy describes her discoveries while Pip draws them and watches the nest. The eggs start to crack and together Pip and Posy watch the birds hatch.

Posy discovers a ladybird and names it Spotty Dotty! Posy puts Spotty Dotty in her water bottle and Pip and Jamila try to persuade her to set it free. Posy won't listen. The ladybird flies away when Pip is guarding her. Posy is very cross with Pip. They discover a bush covered in ladybirds - including Spotty Dotty. Posy realises Spotty doesn't belong in a bottle and apologises.

Pip has made a kite. Posy plays with the kite, but it gets stuck in a tree. Posy tells Pip a fib that a big girl called Kriumska stole it. Pip searches to find Kriumska and the kite. Posy realises she needs to tell the truth. Pip is cross with Posy but happy that his kite is not lost, and relieved there is no scary Kriumska. They retrieve the kite. Pip helps Posy learn how to fly it.

Pip is sorting his toys and Frankie suggests putting them into two boxes, one to keep and one to go. Pip loves the idea but Posy struggles to throw things away. Posy shows Pip how fun the toys are and accidentally knocks the box over. Pip gets frustrated and upsets Posy. Pip doesn't know where the 'going' box should go and apologises to Posy. Posy finds great ways to play with the old toys.

Jamila shows Pip and Posy her bug hotel and tells them she is creating a room for the ants. Pip and Posy start collecting twigs but their noisy games disturb the bug hotel! They don't notice the guests crawling away. Jamila is upset to find the bug hotel empty, and Pip and Posy apologise. Pip thinks of a plan and they create a course for the ants to get back to the bug hotel.
