So the Next Generation Will Know

By examining the challenges today's youth encounter, we can identify barriers to faith, the important connection between truth and relationship, and reasons young Christians are leaving the church. Together, we can respond to these challenges and brainstorm innovative solutions.

Generation Z is a remarkable generation. By understanding their general characteristics and needs, especially the values of transparency and authenticity, we can learn to recognize the uniqueness of each young person and begin to confidently connect with real relationships and transformation through love.

Equipping and motivating young generations requires relationship. It requires avoiding relational counterfeits and relating authentically to the lonely generation. Discussing the importance of truth through relationship and strategies to connect with Gen Z, we can connect with the hearts of young people, loving them through relationship.

Gen Z youth look at and experience the world in a drastically different way. By evaluating cultural influences on Gen Z youth and ways to establish worldview conversations, we will give kids a worldview that brings significance, equipping them with a solid Christian base.

How do we help younger generations avoid spiritual apathy? Delving into Gen Z passions and the difference between subjective and objective truth, we can not only model a passionate faith, but also encourage students to build an ignited passion for God and for truth.

As leaders, we must resist the desire to merely entertain rather than train our students. We will learn the helpful and practical steps of T.R.A.I.N. and T.A.B., a worldview training, that will equip us to set priorities for youth engagement. Our love for our students must include practical and equipping training.

By building faith and fun together, constructing a calendar with unforgettable worldview adventures, and incorporating short and long-term challenges into teachings, we can explore differing worldviews with confidence and a Christian-attitude. This exploratory attitude provides life-changing adventures for students.

We live in a technology-filled world and, therefore, it's important to learn how to teach through and alongside today's technology and media. By being aware of Gen Z influences in the media and aspects of healthy technology use, we can prepare students through engaging with and healthy discussion about movies, music, books, and current events.
