Shayla's Catch Prequel

Wealthy NFL star, CK Moore (played by Oshea Russell), ruffles the feathers of his main girl, Mia Falana (played by Amina Buddafly Pankey) who questions him about a phone call she received from a woman claiming CK is seeing her and others. CK brushes off the allegations, then hosts a TV exclusive and press conference at his new mansion. Viewers form their opinions about his charm and good looks.

NFL Baller, CK Moore, tries to wiggle his way out of a friendship he developed with Epiphany, his team owner's daughter. He then unveils his new ride and shows off his charm and swagger, spending money lavishly and finagling his stable of women - with lies. Mia becomes more suspicious about CK's whereabouts. Shayla becomes more hopeful about the possibility of meeting her ultimate catch.

Epiphany, the owner's daughter of CK's team, calls him with suspicious news. CK's main girl, Mia, becomes irritated with CK and makes new plans. Janelle is hurt by CK's broken promises, while Sage and Deidra are hopeful CK will call them back. Shayla prepares to attend Monday Night Football, and asks her roommate about CK. Claire and her son, Diego, have different views about his girlfriend.

While CK makes plans with Chanel and continues to philander, Mia grows closer to a young NBA player. Shayla recites 1st Corinthians 13:4-8, remaining hopeful about love. Shayla's mom, Connie, shares her pain with her sister, Sydney. NFL team owner Edgar Castleberry disappoints his wife, Susan, while his daughter, Rose Marie, known as Epiphany, calls her mother. Scenarios unfold about love, faith, money and deceit.
