After a health scare derails his career, soccer superstar Roberto Casas heads back to his humble Mexican hometown of Playa Ángel, where he is faced with a choice: coach the local female soccer team, or face jail time.

As the team readies for an important match, a “miracle” appears that could help redeem Roberto’s reputation.

While awaiting the results of his paternity test, Roberto goes toe-to-toe with Tania’s strong-willed mother, Flor. Then, hoping to bring more fans to matches, Santi, Renata and Humberto attempt to make a documentary about Las Bravas go viral.

The team’s victory celebration is short-lived after a key player is injured. Desperate to sign a striker before their next match, Roberto makes a risky return to the field. Meanwhile, Las Bravas rally around one of their own to keep the team together.

An away game against the ruthless Las Diablas requires Roberto to strike a deal with Flor. Meanwhile, Santi sees an opportunity to profess his undying love, Tania enlists Claudia’s help, and new player Hache struggles to fit in with her teammates.

Sebas receives an unexpected visit as Las Bravas go on strike against a worried Roberto, who fears he’s the victim of an evil spell. After visiting a witch, Roberto’s purpose in Playa Ángel becomes clear -- even if it means unpacking his troubled past.
