The Liquidator

Jeff is delighted when Sheldon brings him a seized yacht worth a quarter-million dollars to auction off, and makes the boat the centerpiece of a huge auction. At the same time, Jeff buys a load of carwash soap thinking it can go on his shelves, only to receive huge vats of industrial solution he can't possibly sell - or can he?

A gift store has only hours to be cleared out, so Jeff lowballs the desperate owner, only to turn foe into friend as he enlists her help in flipping the lot for a tidy profit. Then, he sells a load of hockey jerseys even before buying them! But when a dancewear flip flops, Jeff is forced to move onto plan B - selling the leotards piecemeal - a move that has its own unique benefits.

When Daniel makes deals for a load of LED screens and Chinese merchandise without consulting Jeff, Jeff worries that Daniel might be reaching too high. And a cattle farmer wants to trade a steer for some furniture, so Jeff goes whole-cow into the beef business - but a mathematical error leaves him red-faced in front of new employee Ian.

Jeff considers himself a scavenger, but what's he going to do with a truckload of expired cat food? When used salon equipment is left behind in a retail space, Jeff's the guy who gets called to clear it out - and he pays for the opportunity. Meanwhile, Jeff is forced to put his money where his mouth is when he auctions off a load of native artifacts.

Jeff has learned a lot in his years of being a liquidator, but new lessons are always coming -- sometimes from the most unlikely places. Will a nervous first-time liquidator teach him a thing or two? What about an 8-year-old who wants to be just like Jeff when he grows up?

Faced with dozens of cute bunnies, will Jeff pay more than he thinks is wise to help out a rabbit shelter? And when Sheldon asks Jeff for a favor clearing the contents of a produce store, Jeff agrees to help him out. But Jeff's eyes are never far from his own bottom line, and Sheldon just might have to figure this out the hard way.

Jeff loves opportunities that look like easy money - like signing on to auction off some storage lockers he buys on the cheap. But when the bidders won't bite, Jeff realizes that sometimes the deals that look the easiest can be the toughest as he tries every trick in - and out of -- the book to try turn a profit.

When a restaurant owner offers Jeff a hefty commission to clear out the place, Jeff jumps at the chance. But the sale draws only tightwads, and it looks like Jeff may lose money from this no-brainer deal - until he turns his buyers against each other. And when a doll collector wants to unload a porcelain doll collection, Jeff wavers - until Walter reveals a hidden source of doll aficionados.

Jeff usually buys damaged goods from other people - so when a container of full priced, first quality furniture from Asia shows up damaged - Jeff goes ballistic. He's determined to get his money back - even if he has to go all the way to Indonesia to do it. While Jeff's away, Daniel decides to take a chance on hundreds of pairs of trendy shoes.

There's trouble in Indonesia as Jeff struggles to buy enough furniture to fill a shipping container before he leaves the country. Back at Direct Liquidation, Daniel wins a bid on a load of car stereos; only to have Sheldon tell him the equipment is a bunch of paperweights.

Direct Liquidation is expanding to a second location halfway across the country, this forces Jeff to do what he has never done before: put his business in someone else's hands. But Jeff can't stay at arm's reach for long and ends up flying in to save the day. Meanwhile, trusting the wrong guy leaves Ian singing a sad song on a freezer deal. Will Jeff hear his tune and bail him out?

When he gets a call from a priest with a furniture problem, will Jeff's need for redemption leave him vulnerable to saying yes when he should be saying no? And when a couple professional dealmakers come in to try and pawn off some outdated suits on Jeff, he shows them who the king of the hustlers really is.

When Jeff enlists the help of a beautiful employee to woo a customer into buying an antique motorbike, will their plan work or will the customer walk? And when a former business owner wants too much for her designer wedding dresses, it looks like no deal for Jeff -- until he calls in his mentor to buy the dresses. Jeff's mentor thinks he knows all of Jeff's tricks - but does he?

Jeff knows nothing about electronics - but that doesn't stop him from taking a chance on a load of gear from a company going out of business. Is he now the owner of the world's ugliest paperweights, or are these high-tech items worth their weight in gold? And, Sheldon find out what he doesn't know about some steel cages can hurt him - especially when he's dealing with Jeff.

After Jeff agrees to buy the remaining contents of a huge warehouse, he is shocked to find out that everything needs to be out in four hours - including a huge rooftop fan the size of a truck! And when two chainsaw carvers come onto Jeff's turf to sell some statues, Jeff tries using home ice advantage.

Jeff buys a load of art sight unseen for a steal but when it arrives, he realizes why -- the stuff is all gay erotic art! And Jeff is so eager to get into the sexy underwear business he overpays for a bankrupt lingerie store, and then slides even further into the hole as he and Daniel give away product to sexy shoppers. How will they get out of this one?

For Jeff, a seller in need is a friend indeed - for a few minutes, anyway -- but when the shoe's on the other foot and Jeff is desperate for large collectible items, how can he manage to come out on top? And then, Jeff finds out making "easy money" as a sales agent isn't so easy as he tries to get two tough guys to agree to one price.

Jeff has a weakness for pretty women, and so he refuses to deal beautiful siren Jade in person. Will this strategy get him a good price on some high-end furniture? Or even over the phone will Jeff still find himself giving her too much money? And then, Jeff finds out why you don't send a restaurant guy in to do a shoe deal.

Most of Jeff's deals come in and out of his warehouse very quickly, but every now and then something comes along that he has to work extra hard to sell - including a spur-of-the-moment purchase of thousands of gadgets that turn cups into speakers. And when Jeff is faced with bunch of junk statues he can't sell, he figures why not trade his junk for someone else's?

Jeff is up to his ears in sugar as he makes a deal for almost a million packages of candy - but when his buyer finds out Jeff kept dozens of skids for himself, will their arrangement turn bitter? And a trip to the home of an eccentric collector leaves Jeff the proud owner of a handmade guillotine and an elk-horn dildo.

Jeff risks thousands on a truck full of furniture he buys sight unseen, will he end up with the best deal in town - or a bunch of very expensive firewood? And Jeff buys a lot of strange merchandise, but a purchase of 2300 single socks leaves Jeff's staff thinking he may be a bit off-balance.

Jeff hopes to get a great deal on a huge load of seized hardwood flooring from old pal Sheldon, but Sheldon knows all of Jeff's tricks and isn't falling for any of them! Also, a seller uses his daughter's best assets to secure a clothing deal with Jeff.

Jeff has to move quickly if he wants to capitalize on thousands of dollars worth of sewer pipe -- but fires at the store keep flaring up. Will Jeff be able to sell the sewer pipe in time? Or will this deal go down the drain? And when Jeff has to refund a customer for a non-working motor his associate Sheldon sold to him, will Jeff be able to convince Sheldon to split the loss?

Jeff hits the jackpot on a load of damage-claim items from a delivery warehouse, but will he be able to sneak the best items onto his own truck before the buyer arrives? And selling to a loud Italian customer turns out to be an exercise in frustration.

After Jeff is stuck running a storage locker auction all by himself, he convinces a couple of newbies - including his son Matt - to help him out. But taking free help from a client puts Jeff at a disadvantage later. Meanwhile, Jeff finds out that getting his customers to buy 20-kg bags of salt is going to be tougher than he imagined.

Jeff's love for "boy toys" blows up into a huge sale of guns, crossbows, ammo cases, and all kinds of other military gear at Direct Liquidation. Will he be able to recoup his $17,000 investment, or on this one, will his customers shoot to kill? And a load of vibration exercise machines leaves Jeff shaking.

Jeff and Daniel hit the road to Vancouver Island, hoping to pick up out-of-the-way deals for almost nothing, but a grizzled rodeo vet shows them that some small town guys can be big-time negotiators.

When the company next door wants to unload $100k worth of motors, Jeff has to decide whether he wants to be a good neighbor and make friends - or make money.

When Jeff only has 8 hours to sell a hotel's worth of falling-apart furniture, will he manage to turn a pile of garbage into gold? Or are these tables only fit for the trash?
