Muffin really wants to learn to fly. Samuel tries to teach her the right way to flap, Rudy suggests she fly on a kite and Missy suggests she try swinging off a trapeze to fly. But nothing works! After getting some encouragement from Mr Beakman to keep trying, Samuel invents a kite-apeze! Part kite, part trapeze and perfect for Muffin to fly on!

Rudy and Samuel are rehearsing for Mr Beakman's play, The Prize Potato. Muffin wants to be in the play, too, but there is no part for her – that is, until the play's props get blown away! Muffin steps in and becomes the star of the show, playing the props: a hat, a potato and a watering can.

Samuel, Muffin and Rudy each make up a silly song. Mrs Billingsley invites them to perform one song after the adult bird chorus' concert. When the kids can’t agree on whose song to sing, Samuel figures out a way to get all three songs into one: they'll sing a round!

Samuel and Rudy are playing together, but they can’t agree on a game they both like! The two friends start to argue but Mr Beakman happens along and tells them not to give up, there must be something they both like. Muffin leads Rudy and Samuel to Missy’s house where everyone agrees on a game of dress up!

Mr Beakman is building a train set, The Sunset Express. Samuel, Rudy and Muffin offer to help him finish the tracks but Muffin’s tracks are a disaster. Quinn helps the kids fix the tracks just in time for sunset. But when Mr Beakman returns, they realize no one fits in the driver’s seat!

Rudy, Samuel and Muffin invite the whole town to come see the Rudy Show, an all-Rudy revue! But when they arrive at the theatre, they find a big branch has fallen on the stage! With the help of the community, the kids fix the stage just in time for Rudy’s performance!

Samuel and Muffin ask Mrs. Lovebird to fly them to the super slide, but unfortunately she’s too busy. The children are disappointed, but then get the idea to build a super slide of their own. With help from their neighbors, they make a spectacular water slide!

There’s a big costume party tonight! Muffin is going to be Little Red Riding Hood and Samuel has the perfect apple to be an apple tree. When he goes off to get the rest of his costume, Muffin cannot resist and she eats Samuel’s apple. In the end, Muffin turns her Little Red Riding Hood costume into an apple outfit and completes Samuel’s costume.

Samuel and Rudy invite Muffin along for a picnic with their friend, Elliot. Muffin is shocked to find out that Elliot is a worm! Initially, Muffin thinks she and Elliot are too different to be friends, but Samuel convinces Muffin that different can be good.

Quinn builds Muffin a bouncy Pogo Nest and cautions her that it will only fit one bird at a time. When Muffin leaves, Samuel and Rudy hop into the nest and break it! Quinn helps them fix the Pogo Nest but Muffin decides to make a repair of her own, she rigs the nest so it can comfortably seat three!

Everyone is practicing a dance for the big dance party but Samuel just can’t find his rhythm! Rudy helps Samuel learn how to relax and soon he is doing his own awkward but charming dance. When Samuel accidentally scratches a record at the dance party, he creates a whole new dance craze, the Samuel Scratch!

Mrs. Lovebird asks Samuel and Rudy to watch Muffin as she plays in her pull-toy nest. But things don’t go as planned, when Muffin rolls down the branch and out of control. It’s up to Samuel and Rudy to save Muffin from disaster!

Samuel, Muffin and Rudy are going on a picnic at Fruitbranch Park and Samuel insists that it be perfect. When Muffin only brings one tiny seed to eat, it looks like the picnic is ruined. But Mrs Billingsley gives them the idea to pick some fruit, and the kids find more than enough for their perfect picnic.

Quinn has created a pie-making machine for the pie fair and he enlists the help of Samuel, Rudy and Muffin to move the pies from the conveyor belt to the table. When they push the machine’s forbidden red button the machine goes berserk! The kids must all work together to fix the machine in time to make pies for the fair.

Muffin wants to play shop, but she has nothing to sell. When Samuel’s marbles, Mr Beakman’s chalkboard eraser and Mrs Billingsley’s watering can go missing, Samuel’s search for the culprit leads him to Muffin, who has been innocently collecting items to stock her empty shop. The community explains to her that she must always ask before taking something.

Muffin really wants to see a dinosaur, and is heartbroken when Mr Beakman tells her they are no longer around. Samuel and Rudy build Muffin a giant papier-mâché dinosaur, but it scares her. Mr Beakman helps Muffin to overcome her fear and she rides the dinosaur around the tree!

The Budgies are going camping and Muffin wants to come along too. Mr Beakman agrees, though she’s a little young, but Muffin soon gets homesick and wants to go back. The Budgies’ motto is ‘Never Give Up’, so Samuel, Rudy and Mr Beakman show her how much fun camping can really be.

The whole community is gathering at the top of Branch Hill to watch the meteor shower. But the hill is too steep and Mrs Billingsley cannot reach the top! Samuel gets everyone to form a bird chain and they gently pull up Mrs Billingsley, in time to see the lovely meteor shower.

Samuel and Muffin go to The Amazing Beakman’s magic show and Muffin is blown away by his tricks! She goes around the neighbourhood trying to perform her own tricks but none of them work out. Just as she is about to give up, Mr Beakman encourages her and the two put on a magic show together wherein Muffin makes Mr Beakman disappear!

Samuel, Muffin and Rudy head over to the frozen branch with Mr Beakman for some ice-skating! Samuel notices Mr Beakman won’t get on the ice. Mr Beakman tells Samuel he’s always been afraid to ice skate. The kids help Mr Beakman overcome his fear and have a great time.

Muffin stumbles on Samuel and Rudy’s playhouse, but they will not let her come in. She stomps away and builds her own playhouse, even better than theirs.When Samuel and Rudy ask to visit, Muffin won’t let them. Mr Beakman suggests they stop quarrelling and put the playhouses together. They take his advice and make the best playhouse ever.

After seeing a cowboy movie, Muffin decides she would like to be a cowgirl. First she needs a hat. The kids get a hat from Mr Beakman, but now Muffin needs some boots. They get boots from Missy, but now Muffin needs a horse! Muffin is disappointed when she realises there are no horses on 3rd and Bird and she can never be a cowgirl.

Muffin comes upon a strange plant, which she affectionately names Pee-Ew. But Pee-Ew smells so terrible that no one wants the little plant in the tree. Muffin helps the community realise that they cannot cast out this peculiar plant just because of its smell. The community works together to make a home for Pee-Ew on 3rd and Bird.

Mr Beakman’s three-year-old nephew Jordan comes to visit and the town gushes over him. Muffin, however, is jealous of the attention. Despite everyone’s attempts to bring them together, Muffin refuses to be friends with Jordan. But when the cute little Toucan offers her a flower, Muffin softens. Soon she and Jordan are best friends.
