On her first day, Shannon shows her skill by helping Lawson deal with a disgruntled salesman who has stolen a forklift with his boss trapped in a car mounted on its forks.

A series of TAB robberies lead TR to link the incidents to a man attempting to settle a score. Struggling to deal with repercussions of the cyclist's death, Kerry leads Leon on a wild night out.

Two teenagers hoping for internet notoriety blow up a series of parking pay stations. Josh leads the effort to prevent them killing themselves and innocent bystanders. When TR is brought in to control a group of protesters, Michael makes things worse when he is unable to control his temper.

Called to a siege in a town on the outskirts of Melbourne, TR find a man has been shot and a child abducted. They journey into dense bushland to rescue the boy only to discover he doesn't want to be rescued, and is prepared to shoot anyone who tries. When Josh is shot, Lawson faces a dilemma in how to neutralize the boy.

Stella's future in TR is threatened when she becomes involved in an illegal car race. Kerry faces the coronial inquest into the cyclist's death. Later, Boyd visits Kerry at home with a peace offering. Dom finds a creative solution to an unusual situation at a strip club where an out of control father demands to see his daughter.

TR responds to a suspicious car tailing an armoured van. Michael, out of sorts since his break up with Stella, goes against standard operating procedure taking on the robbers single-handedly. When the robbers discover their operation compromised, Michael finds his life in danger. Unable to hold back, Michael confesses his true feelings to Stella.

Lawson tries to protect Jacinta when a story she's investigating puts her life in danger. An incident at a petrol station leads TR to an ex-SAS soldier with links to a terrorist group. When he tries to steal a pharmaceutical truck, TR joins forces with Major Crime to bring him down.

When a baby is abducted Lawson races to find the kidnappers before the child's grandfather, a known criminal figure, finds them first. A man threatens to jump from an apartment building after his girlfriend goes missing, feared murdered.

When a taxi driver assaults Shannon TR links the incident to a spate of attacks against female passengers. As TR searches for the driver, Josh struggles to contain his anger. TR responds to a disturbance at a swinger's party only to discover the gatecrasher is a disabled woman.

TR races to track her down before her boyfriend discovers she is a cop. Lawson and Shannon negotiate the awkwardness of their personal and professional relationship.

Dom and Michael attend an armed robbery to find the gunman has been attacked by a security dog and is missing an ear. Josh, on suspension, visits a psychologist to deal with his anger issues.

Lawson tries to save Caleb from a life of crime only to discover it's already too late. Dom's home life explodes when Sandrine's depression threatens to harm their baby. A bouncer at Goldfingers threatens the manager when he is forbidden to dance during business hours.

A discussion about Kerry's birthday leads to a bet on who in the team will have sex with her. Leon investigates a series of video store robberies only to be caught in a robbery himself. TR escorts a visiting dignitary, which tests the fitness of Shannon, Stella and Michael. Lawson and Josh chase a group of criminals through the MCG during a Hawks and Bombers match.

TR assists in the removal of underage girls from a community where reports have been made of inappropriate behaviour. The situation turns serious when a member of the community hijacks a bus and demands the girls be released. When the hijack escalates, Lawson is forced into action with devastating consequences for one of the team.

Stella clashes with Lawson as the team waits for the ballistic report that will reveal which of them shot an innocent man. Melbourne's water supply is contaminated by a woman who believes fluoride in the water has killed her husband. Michael's faith is tested when he loses a large sum of money while swimming with two underage girls.
