On a once-sandy Thailand beach that is now surrounded by artificial sea walls, two young women meet. Shati is a local Muslim woman from a conservative family. Fon is an activist-turned-visual artist, in town for the her new art exhibition. The more they get to know each other, the deeper Shati feels conflicted by her traditional beliefs that forbid same-sex relationships.
