Lootie Pfannder was a successful all-American point guard on the women's basketball team. After college, she takes on the head coaching job at St. Tammany. Hoping to rebuild a team which is tough in spirit but low on talent, Lootie uses her unorthodox coaching style, despite opposition from her Dean, to hammer home the basics and stress a philosophy of playing with passion, or not at all.
