Expedition: Africa

"Lost in Africa" - Four explorers begin their trek through the jungle, but after just 10 miles, find themselves hampered by personality conflicts and poor organization.

"First Victim" - Explorers climb through the Uluguru Mountains. Soon into their trip, a porter collapses because of the blistering pace Pasquale has set. They also have to cross steep cliffs that Kevin, the least experienced, finds daunting.

"Hunters Become the Hunted" - Mkata Plains: This is the real Africa. The explorers cross the hot, dry plains. The dangers of lions and hyenas are very real. They also participate in a traditional Maasai blood drinking ritual.

"African Monsoon" - The group's pace is slowed by heavy rains and the members face the chance of hypothermia. One of them becomes seriously ill; another takes over as the navigator and becomes upset with their guide; and conflict within the group continues.

"Danger in the Desert" - The team is mired in contention after a trek through the Bahi Swamp, and animosities begin to heat up due to a lack of protection from the sun, leading some to leave the group.

"Malaria Claims an Explorer" - One of the team members contracts malaria after a move into Tabora, which may threaten the expedition. And problems arise when a pair of team members get into a heated argument.

"Heart of Darkness" - The Explorers push onward from the Ugalla River to the Malagarasi, where Stanley had lost his favorite donkey. Benedict tries to hide from the others that he's still not feeling well, but the other notice he's not well, casting concern that Benedict might night make it to the end.

"The Final Chapter" - The series comes to a close as the explorers complete their historic and memorable journey.
