On a normal - get yelled at from your boss and nearly get fired- kind of day, Ahmad’s route home is interrupted. A suicide! The shock leads Ahmad away from the dead body and straight into the dead man’s ringing phone on the ground. A dangerous new toy for a relatively unaware person.

After losing his job, Ahmad heads to HopeMakers in hopes of getting hired. To no surprise, the aftermath of his fake suicide call to Rima is clear around the center with police presence and a visit from the governor himself. Ahamd’s desperation grows, as his valid attempt turns futile.

With Money getting tight, Ahmad desperately tries to find a place to hire him. A stroke of luck hits at the worst possible moment, setting Ahmad up to be the ping pong ball in a heavy match of luck versus fate. Creating a rivalry between Ahmad- the self-proclaimed hero- and Qais, the gatekeeper.

As Ahmad settles into his new job, Rima’s situation is getting worse. Motivated by guilt and intrusiveness, he actively pursues befriending her.

After Seeing Elma, his idol, for the first time, Ahmad is shook to the core. She feels within reach, so, in classic Ahamd fashion, he goes after her. With staff re-evaluations underway, Ahamd’s evaluation goes south and is put on leave of absence. With no one to hear him, Ahmad’s hope for a decent birthday vanishes. Or does it?

With Hind bombarding his life and a massive public humiliation, topped with a firing from his job, it is safe to say that not much more is needed for Ahmad to snap.

Finding himself on the run, Ahamd goes into hiding for all the wrong reasons while Rima tends to her injured husband. A visit at the hospital reunites the two and clears both their paths forward.

The video Ahmad captured haunts him. It forces him to go on the offensive and blackmail both Elma and Qais. His relentlessness corners both of them, extracting exactly what he wants.

Ahmad takes full advantage and Elma’s influence forces himself back into HopeMakers, this time as the manager. With Rima still on the hunt for the truth, her pursuit leads directly to Ahmad’s doorstep.
