Valérie and her diabetic daughter Claire survive a plane crash in the remote Alaskan wilderness during the heart of winter. Along with Marcus, the only other survivor, they desperately try to find their way back to civilization for food, water and insulin. To survive, they must battle the elements, escape a Grizzly bear, and flee from murderous criminals trying to recover a valuable microchip.
