Battle of the Bagpipes

Finlay Macdonald, musical director of the National Piping Centre, and several of Scotland's leading pipers perform live at a celebratory international festival: Piping Live.

Three bands sharpen their performances with one week to go before the World Pipe Band Championships, a fiercely contested competition where the best pipe bands from around the globe all vie to be crowned worthy winners.

The World Pipe Band Championships finally arrive, and the current title holder, the Field Marshal Montgomery Pipe Band, hopes to win the crown for the 14th time.
