Atua has chosen his angels Pani & Pani to find warriors of Polynesia.  We searched high and low and have found 12 warriors. Led by Maori expert Eds Eramiha, our warriors will need to show just how well they can compete in traditional games of our forefathers.

There will be blood, sweat and tears as our 8 remaining warriors face their hardest challenges yet. Wairangi Koopu will test their agility and coordination in Poi Rakau then our warriors will need to show their strength and endurance fruit carrying race – a favourite at the Heiva festival.  Which of our warriors will move on to the next challenge and who will go home?

Our Angels Pani & Pani are hungry and our warriors have to feed them. Without using modern technology our warriors will need to peel a green banana, remove the seeds from a pawpaw and make the ultimate raw fish from scratch. In this Polynesian masterchef, 7 men must put their creative flair on the table.

Across all cultures there is a tradition of manaakitanga and gift giving.  Inspired by the Samona tradition of Si’i Alofa, our warriors will be required to carry delicate gifts by demonstrating balance, strength, stamina and focus.  Then with creativity and flair they must create a gift to present to Pani & Pani made out of clay.

Our warriors have shown us their physical, mental and creative abilities but can they ‘woo’ a goddess? Our final 5 warriors will need to light the fire of Mahuika, charm the Beautiful Laka or compete to gain the heart of Sina. The Polynesian love goddess Teuila Blakely makes an appearance as do the queens of comedy Aunty Tala and Ms Kihi.

The grand finale of Game of Bros!! We are down to our last 4 warriors and today’s challenge is the mightiest of them all.  Tangata manu is a traditional challenge from Rapanui.  Our warriors will scale the wall to collect their eggs then make their way through a variety of obstacles in order to race to the finish line and claim their right to become the Ultimate Game of Bros Warrior!
