Staten Islander and hair extensions queen, Christina Oliva, opens a salon in the big leagues of Manhattan. Business is slower than she had hoped and she finds out a trusted member of her staff may be up to no good.

The team prepares for an NYC launch party but is met with a setback that could end the party before it begins. At dinner, Victoria drops a bomb on the family, and Christina gives a new client with thinning hair a fresh start.

The launch party is in jeopardy when a citywide protest closes the streets. Jenn secures a big opportunity for Christina but then the two sisters clash over salon business. Christina gives a cancer-survivor hair extensions.

Christina and Jenn finally have a heart to heart about Jenn's place at the salon, and Victoria makes a mistake so big that she might be fired. Also, identical twins get strikingly different hair makeovers.

Christina must make a massive 100 foot long extension for the photo shoot of a lifetime. Victoria tries to gain back Christina's trust, and Christina gets news about the salon's future from a psychic.

Business in NYC finally picks up so Christina tests Victoria to determine her future with the salon. Meanwhile, the sisters surprise their dad for his birthday, and a transgender client gets a life-changing hair transformation.
