Tre Kronor - The Hunt for World Championship Gold

In the first of 7 Episodes. First assembly, Karjala Cup. Sam presents the big goal for the season, WC in Stockholm. Spider and crew are getting this week' locker room ready, and we visit big stars like - Filip Forsberg in Nashville and Rasmus Dahlin in Buffalo. Wille Nylander tells us why he moved to Sweden at 14. Sweden loses to Switzerland for the first time in 8 year.

In the second of 7 Episodes. Tre Kronor suffers its worst start in four years. For the Swiss Hockey Tournament, a fresh squad replaces SHL stars with Swedes from the Swiss league. Patric "Bengan" Hörnqvist joins as assist. GM, while Spider showcases goalie helmets. Sweden beats Switzerland but drops the other games. "We are outplayed - so what now?" asks coach Sam.

In the third of 7 Episodes. Injuries and stitches is a theme, Sam is scouting in North America, and in Stockholm he says hi to the Tre Kronor players on the Beijer roster - then he flies to Montreal with the staff for Four Nations - leaving the team with subs. They loose all three games.

In the fourth of 7 Episodes. After ten years - i'ss time for the best to meet the best in Four Nations. Montreal is beautiful and snowy, everyone is excited. Victor Hedman, Mika Zibanejad and Wille Nylander all remember their draft days. Sweden plays the opening game against Canada, in Canada. Bell Centre Arena is on fire.

In the fifth of 7 Episodes. The Four Nation circus is moving to Boston. Sam is not happy about the team performance and has a meeting. ”This is on all of you, too. You are all stars, and we have an amazing roster - but the paper never wins”. There is a flu spreading, and several players are forced to stay off the ice. The playbook is thrown out the window…

In the penultimate Episode. 16 NHL teams have missed playoffs, and the players are available for WC. Tre Kronor in Betano games consist of 13 NHL pros, and 12 EU players, all playing for one of the spots in WC that might not go to NHL pros. The team is winning all three games, but after the last win, the EU players are summoned to meet Sam and Bengan. To play or not to play?

In the last Episode. The WC is finally in Stockholm! The assembly starts with team-building exercises, the roster is filled with stars – five spots are still open, waiting to be filled by NHL-players or EU players from Brno. It's a winning team all the way – until they loose… Sam is trying to regroup and reset for the last game, even though it won't be the game they came to play.
