The Lion Man Adventures

Craig makes a fresh start at the Big Cat Sanctuary in South Africa. After introducing some of the big cats, Craig makes a perimeter patrol with a lion for company, finds and removes a dangerous snare set by poachers, helps coax a lion to switch enclosures, helps a 4 ft long monitor lizard get to a stream for its own safety and finishes the show with a poacher pursuit under darkness.

A client wants to use Craig's biggest lion for a photo shoot whilst two new cheetahs arrive at the sanctuary. It's bath time for the lion before Craig gives safety advice to the photographers. After a big storm passes through, a microlight is used to check for damage and locates an orphaned baby giraffe. Craig plays rodeo as he brings the giraffe back to the safety of the sanctuary.

Two new lions arrive after an overnight drive to the park. Craig settles them in as the existing lions and tigers assess the new arrivals. A examines an injured giraffe and addresses an injury to one of the cheetahs. Craig finishes building a hospitality area in time for some guests to arrive to share wildlife, food and drinks.

The team take the cheetahs for exercise but Craig needs to distract and move two tigers who seem as eager for a cheetah encounter as the staff team. He checks in on recently arrived lions and then has to locate fresh meat to match the voracious appetites of the lions, tigers and cheetahs. The show finishes with Craig trying to sleep outdoors as a hungry lion tries to make a snack out of his bed.

After a quick bath, the tigers are fed by Craig after which he pays attention to the giraffe whose neck has not yet healed. Craig transports the, thankfully young and short, giraffe to a team of vets in a horse box. The vets run tests and try and work out what is ailing the giraffe before heading back to the sanctuary to await the results.

Craig comes across a rhino which has died having its horns taken by poachers. Craig and the team try and help rhino injured with bullet wounds as they outline the perils facing this critically endangered species. As an injured rhino rests in a safe location, Craig and a police crew use specially trained dogs at a checkpoint and apprehend two suspects.

Craig takes one of the team on a training session with three of the lions. A wheelbarrow, some fresh ribs and Craig are the only protections available to the intrepid team member. Craig takes a hike to the mountains as he locates injured vultures and sees the changes impacting them. He later makes chase as poachers are seen on the sanctuary, two are apprehended and removed under cover of darkness.

Craig gets news about the injured giraffe and now knows the next steps to take. He takes one of the lions for a mini adventure to a waterfall in a canyon for a spot of swimming. Later a guest experience including great food, singing and ending with a little rain. A huge thunderstorm then comes in and, scared of them getting struck, Craig gets the animals to relative safety.

Craig is with a lion looking out over the remnants of a Zulu village and the mountains beyond. He does battle as the tigers try to take the lion's share of fresh iced blocks of meat as he helps to cool the animals. An electrocuted chameleon gets some TLC as a huge rock python changes the bedding down plans for two cheetahs as Craig removes it by hand.

Craig and team check to see if a lion likes his newly built den, a baby giraffe finishes treatment and a soon-to-be engaged couple choose the sanctuary for a marriage proposal with a celebratory picnic in front of a lion. A lion and tiger are introduced into the same enclosure, as Craig keeps the peace as the tiger stalks from the long grass. The episode's ending doesn't go completely to plan.
