The story of Sara, a teenage girl who sinks - slowly but inevitably - into the abyss of anorexia. The only daughter of well-off parents, she is often alone at home. Sara is obsessed by her weight and is prepared to do anything to become thinner. Her friends finally notice her condition, but Sara slowly draws further into herself as she cuts herself off from contact with others.
