Once Hitler had become chancellor, the tank had found a man wanting to make Germany strong again through the use of military force and therefore willing to advance the cause of the tank. The tank was about to make a second dramatic appearance on the battlefield, and it was the Germans who were responsible for forcing the design of some of the most deadly weapons the World had ever seen.
