Thomas & Friends: Learning with Thomas

When Percy isn't feeling right, it's up to his best friend Thomas to find out what's wrong by teaching Percy about different emotions in this Learning with Thomas educational episode.

In this Learning with Thomas educational episode, Thomas and Percy cause an accident at Brendam Docks, and it's Cranky the Crane that comes to their rescue. Cranky teaches Thomas and Percy why it's important to clean up after yourself so that others don't have accidents or get hurt.

Thomas and Percy are having fun playing together with a bouncy ball. That is until Diesel sneaks in and takes the ball away. Diesel soon realises that he's upset Thomas and Percy but doesn't understand why. So, Thomas and Percy teach Diesel how a good friend plays well with others, and soon enough, Diesel learns the importance of sharing.

In this fun educational Learning with Thomas, Thomas and Percy arrive at the docks to see Cranky struggling with some cargo. There are several different shaped cargo pieces and several different shaped crates. Thomas and Percy decide to help and suggest they identify the different shapes of the crates and then find the correct shaped cargo piece to fit inside.

Sir Topham Hatt is having a long line of coaches painted for the parade. But he only has three colours, Red, Blue, and Yellow! How can he get more colours? As Thomas and Percy think for ideas, a workman accidentally knocks over the red and blue paint, combining to make a new colour, Purple! Soon the friends are mixing all the paint to learn what other colours they can find.

After Percy comments on Butch, the tow truck being a funny-looking engine, Thomas decides to teach Percy that not all Vehicles are steam engines. Percy learns that there are many different types of vehicles on the Island of Sodor, of all shapes and sizes.

In this Learning with Thomas episode, Percy arrives back at Tidmouth shed covered in mud. He's had a busy day and is so tired he just wants to go to bed. But Thomas and Emily teach Percy the importance of a bedtime routine to ensure he gets a good night's sleep.

Thomas and Percy find their friend Emily upset. She lost her friendship chain and can't find it anywhere, but she recalls passing twenty cargo trucks. Thomas has an idea to help by counting twenty trucks, but Percy has never counted up to twenty before. Not a problem when your best friend can teach you.

Poor Percy gets confused when his loud whistle scares away a bird. He only whistled because the bird was whistling too. Thomas explains that his whistle was loud, but the bird was whistling quietly. Loud and quiet are opposites. Percy still doesn't understand, so Thomas teaches his best friend all about opposites.

When Rosie's animals escape from her train, she calls upon Thomas and Percy to help get them back. But how? Rosie tells Thomas and Percy she has different food for each animal. So, by learning what type of food each of the animals eats, they can tempt them back onto the train.
