Halloween Cake-Off

Duff Goldman challenges the bakers to wake the dead by designing dead-to-alive themed cakes. Then the remaining three bakers head home to create showstoppers featuring spectacular effects and cake creatures rising from the dead.

Four bakers must beware of evil spells as Duff Goldman provides cursed ingredients like blood oranges and forbidden rice. The three remaining bakers go home to create elaborate showpiece cakes that transform from calm to cursed.

The bakers have to create cakes that have become infested and decayed, using fermented ingredients like sauerkraut and pickled watermelon rind. The three finalists create masterpieces made to rot before the judges' eyes.

The bakers create cakes fit for monstrous matrimony using iconic Halloween candies like candy corn, chocolate chews and circus peanuts. Then the final three return home to make monster-sized cakes with frightening transformations.

After a flavor challenge involving candies and treats, the remaining bakers have five days in their own home bakeries to design, bake and construct an elaborate Halloween-themed showpiece cake that transforms from good to evil.
