United States, 1970. Jack is a psychopathic engineer with obsessive-compulsive tendencies. After killing a woman who had asked him for help on the street, is convinced of having to continue killing to achieve perfection. Each of his murders must be an increasingly complex and ingenious work of art. Thus began a game of chess with the twelve-year-old police.
