Beautiful views are short lived as five teams get widdled down to four after difficult technical challenges, both in and out of their vehicles.

The four remanining teams attack one of Colorado's most epic four wheel drive trails and blindfolded drivers are the ultimate test of teamwork.

Off-roaders are forced to swap drivers and tackle an intimidating rock staircase in the dark with elimination looming for one team.

Down to three teams, beautification gets competitive, and the overlanders must navigate through a maze of trails, where any wrong turn could lead to their demise.

Tough navigation in the dark and a surprise cooking challenge determine which teams will go on to Moab and which one will be left in the desert.

The final two teams square off and face the most difficult challenges of the competition thus far, some even hidden.

The journey culminates on the shifting sands of Moab, in a battle for the title of Ultimate Overlanders.
