After not following the steps to find Odessa's hidden treasure, a frustrated Pancake enters the Zooniverse to find it covered in ice and snow. To "turn back on" Mt Zoonihorn, he must follow the steps and learn from his friends' mistakes. Determination and following the correct steps can lead to success.

After spilling juice on mom's blanket and not fessing up, Odessa feels guilty. In the Zooniverse, she offers to lead her friends to a lagoon to watch a butterfly dance but doesn't speak up when she loses the map. Never give up, try your hardest, and always tell the truth!

When Pancake becomes bored with a household chore, he gives up in frustration. Later in the Zooniverse, he's delighted to help the fallen North Star return to the night sky, but first he has to learn to value the smaller task he has been given, and how it can add to the whole. Be open minded and optimistic, and you'll be able to take pride in any job!

Afraid of the loud thunder in the waking world, Maple discovers in the Zooniverse that Ene fears something too - the mysterious and loud burping boulders. When Ene messes up building a playset, it turns out to be even more fun than the original, Pancake learns a lesson about "When the world gives you lemons. Mistakes are just unexpected surprises.

Pancake helps the Zoonicorns "imagine" a bridge across the Sticky-Icky River, but it comes out completely wrong, and he must learn not to give up and that just because something ended up a bit different than planned that it still can't do the job. Don't give up if something doesn't go exactly as planned; keep trying and be creative.

Maple is tired of being small, but when she eats the fruit of the Biggle Tree in atop Zoonihorn Mountain, she grows so big, she becomes a destructive giant!. Be careful what you wish for; persevere, no matter what the problem.

When the Foggy messes with the Zoonicorns' colors, Maple learns that the appearance of a thing does not define what it is. It's not what's on the outside that makes a thing/person what it is, but what's on the inside

In the process, she discovers methods to manage her anger and frustration. How to manage anger and frustration in a positive manner.

Odessa loses her beloved rubber ball and learns how to deal with loss. Loss is part of life.

Maple keeps forgetting how to tie her shoes until Promi shows her a way to remember. Practice makes perfect, and perseverance leads to achievement.

Odessa designs her own treehouse, but obstacles like no tree get in her way. With a little inspiration from the Zoonicorns, she still finds a way to make her dreams come true. Odessa learns to deal with setbacks in a positive way by being creative and rethinking things, then having the persistence to follow through.

Odessa is scared of meeting new people when she goes off to camp, so the Zoonicorns use a flashback to remind her that she knows how to make new friends - and that it's fun! When you're afraid of trying something new, you can practice until it is not scary anymore.

In the waking world, Odessa gets embarrassed, which makes her invisible in the Zooniverse. With the humorous help of the Zoonicorns she gains understanding and perspective - and becomes visible again! When you make the effort to understand your feelings, you can manage them and move forward from them in a positive way.

An impatient Pancake must wait a whole day to bake a cake with Mama but learns different methods of patience in the Zooniverse, where time keeps slowing down. How to manage waiting and delays with a bit of patience and optimism

Odessa feels overwhelmed by her art project, then in the Zooniverse she helps clear the Rainbow Road of a giant bubble - and learns that big problems can become small, manageable ones. Pancake over-teases Maple with his new "scary face," then gets a taste of his own medicine in the Zooniverse when, as the old saying goes, his face freezes that way. Just because you think something is fun or funny doesn't mean everybody else is having the same good time you are.

After thinking that his mother doesn't know what it's like to be a kid, in the Zooniverse, Pancake becomes friends with a fun otter kid - who turns out to be his mom!. Judging people/People are often more than what they seem

Maple accidentally breaks Pancake's favorite toy, and he blows up at her. Pancake gains a different perspective about his reaction when, in the Zooniverse, he accidentally breaks a gigantic weather making machine, creating an assortment of weird weather conditions that threaten the Zooniverse. Be slow to lay blame when accidents happen; and resilient in solving the problems when they do.

ODESSA thinks she's gotten away with a little white lie until she visits the Zooniverse where she meets the FIBASAURUS - a tiny, fantastical creature that grows bigger and bigger with every fib that Odessa tells until it is a towering monster capable of upending the Zooniverse!. Little white lies can only grow larger and larger.

PANCAKE and ODESSA'S friendship is strained when the young otter unknowingly offends Odessa. In the Zooniverse, Pancake learns a lesson when he and the Zoonicorns picnic in Echo Canyon where hurtful words which turn into irritating little creatures, Words can hurt.

When Odessa can't decide which Zoonicorn stuffy to take with her on a weekend trip, she ends up having a competition in the Zooniverse between the real Zoonicorns to see who to choose. It's not whether you win or lose, but how you play the game.

When Maple ruins a surprise meant for Pancake, she finds out in the Zooniverse that surprises are only surprising when they are surprises. Seeing things from other people's points of view can make things easier to understand.

Pancake must come to terms with not being better at something than his little sister Maple, which is mirrored in the Zooniverse when he tries to help the Zoonicorns build Jiggly Stone wall. Even when you're not the best at something, you can always be helpful.

When Pancake is having a particularly bad day, he imagines a better life - then becomes a Zoonicorn!, Appreciating the normal yet wonderful and special things in life that happen every day.

PANCAKE wishes he could be king so that he alone could tell everyone else what to do - only to learn that being in charge isn't as easy as it looks. Both leaders and helpers are needed to finish any job. Giving orders and taking orders are both important to get a job done.

When Odessa doesn't want to get rid of her old coat, now to small, because she's had it forever (and is a little afraid of change), but when she ends up helping Ene find a hat, she learns that change isn't something to be afraid, but something to be embraced. Change can be good

Pancake is terrible dancer, and when he joins the Zoonicorns in their dances to make flowers bloom, his issues could disrupt springtime. You don't have to be perfect at something to enjoy it.Feelings are as important as skills.

When Maple is jealous of everything Pancake gets to do because he's older, she sees a chance to be the oldest in the Zooniverse and grabs it. But being oldest isn't as simple as she thinks it will be. Understanding that you have different abilities and responsibilities at every age./Respecting your limits

When Pancake cuts Maple's toast differently than Mama does, it sends Maple into a tailspin. Then in the Zooniverse an art competition shows her that different can be good. There can be more than one way to do things, and each can be right.

When Pancake angers a cloud by not listening, the livid cumulus vents its anger by taking Pancake on a wild ride, storming all over the Zooniverse. An apology, when sincere, can help make things right.

When Pancake, Odessa, and Maple end up getting into a tiff over some colored chalk they're using to draw pictures with, they ALL wind up in the Zooniverse at the same time that night! Sharing is caring. / Teamwork is the way.

When Pancake can't resist opening a box of polka dots, the dots escape and cover the Zooniverse. Understanding that there are reasons for rules.

Pancake is not taking care of his new pet fish appropriately, even though he is trying super-hard. When he arrives in the Zoonivese and tries to help Ene take care of a Merry-Go-Bush, he learns to that there's a right way, and a wrong way, to care for something (by following the rules), no matter the good intentions..
