Jacqueline and Jilly

Magnus and wife, Jacqueline Mitchell throw a dinner party. Daughter, Jilly shows signs of drug addiction at a photography competition, attended by grandmother, Zillah Stewart who disapproves of boyfriend, Paul. Jilly disrupts her parents dinner. Parents argue. Jilly crashes her car.

Mitchell’s wait in the hospital for Jilly’s prognosis. Dr. Cooper alerts that drugs were found in Jilly’s system. Bedside, Magnus reminisces with Jilly. Jaqueline and Magnus argue over Jilly’s rehab. Jilly gets a visit in the hospital from boyfriend, Paul. Jacqueline confronts him. Jilly goes to rehab and resists. Jaqueline, best friend, Clarissa and Zillah, are relieved reputations are in tact.

Jacqueline and Jilly struggle in family therapy. Jilly is discharged from rehab and heads to the beach. Jilly goes in to town and sees old flame, Chris. Her parents wait up worried. They confront Jilly. She unravels. Jacqueline shows up at Jilly’s yoga class next day. Mother and daughter have a truce on the porch. Jilly changes her hair. She apologizes to family friend, Clarissa.

Jilly has a phantom drug experience and reaches to her therapist. Jacqueline spies on her daughter. Jilly tells Paul she is pregnant. Jacqueline and Paul have a heart to heart. Jilly confronts old family color-ism issues. Jilly feels a positive shift with her mother. Jilly convinces her mother and grandmother, Zillah, to take a mystery, holistic trip with her as part of her recovery plan.

Before Magnus leaves on a business trip, he reminds daughter, Jilly to get to her recovery meetings. Jilly’s grandmother, Zillah, shows up at the beach house causing drama. Three generations of women take a road trip. Grandmother, Zillah, spits nails to find she is going camping! Campground director/healer, FAITH, guides the women.

Everything explodes between Jacqueline and her mother, Zillah at the campgrounds. Tea spills exposing a shocking family secret that Jilly overhears. Zillah apologizes for decades of bad behavior. The family welcomes the new addition of a baby, healing together as a result of Jilly’s ongoing recovery being the catalyst, demonstrating that nothing is more powerful than unity, forgiveness and love.
