A true family, homestead farm, Patriot Ridge is a 6.5 acre homestead owned and operated by veterans Walter and Aaron Green-Morse in Jefferson, Maine. Walter and Aaron are no strangers to adversity, overcoming combat injuries and debilitating diseases, this couple embodies the spirit to press on, serve their family and support their community.

Dragonfly Farm and Winery is a vineyard owned and operated by Todd and Treena Nadeau in Stetson, Maine. In addition to running the farm, Todd and Treena are also full time active duty in the military. Dragonfly produces several varieties of whites, reds, and fruit wines. They also feature a tasting room for sampling the wines and it serves as their retail outlet.

This episode tells two stores, one of Kris Frasure who operates an old-time real horse power tree operation and one of Edgar and Patricia Dolbec who raise Red Deer. Kris served more recently, while Edgar is a Vietnam Vet who has found peace and balance through working in nature and with animals.

Harry McCall is a Veteran who works as a potato dealer in Aroostook County Maine. He grew up there surrounded by family farms and country living. He loves the area, his wife and cruising the open country roads on his motorcycle.

The House in the Woods is a wilderness retreat in Lee, Maine for Veterans and their families. Paul and Dee were motivated to start the non profit program after they attended a memorial service in honor of their son Sgt. Joel A. House and 19 others who all died in June of 2007 in Taji, Iraq. The Program heals Veterans by getting back to nature and socializing with other vets.

Mark Braun is a veteran who teamed up with his wife Tammy to create a space where they grow vegetation, raise livestock, and craft lavender based products. The farm is certified organic and the farmhouse sits atop a hill that slopes down to the Saco River. Mark and Tammy have a heart for helping Veterans and plan on building multiple yurts by the river to act as a sanctuary for Vets.

Pineland Farms is a 5,000 acre farm and recreational property and is home to the VAST program which is run by former Olympian and Veteran Kristina Sabasteanski. The goal of VAST is to promote the lifelong health and well-being of Veterans through an array of physical activities and sports.

Mark and Carrie Mancini are Veterans who own and maintain a homestead style farm in central Maine. Along with help from their family and friends they are constantly building, fixing and creating in this unique environment.

Elijah Moore and Robert Foley both help Veterans through equine therapy. These special men have a passion for helping others and working with horses. Elijah is an authentic, old-time cowboy while Robert is a former Navy Seal and Vietnam Vet with a special outreach to those going through difficult struggles.

After their retirement from the military, Tim and Anne relocated to central Maine and purchased a sixty five acre organic farm. They are learning the ropes and facing the challenges of operating this unique business.

Army Veteran Randy Canarr began farming to ensure his son Nate was eating only the best.He raises pigs for meat and also keeps beehives that produce honey, makes maple syrup, and harvests mushrooms used in tea recipes.
