Lee Boxell was a cheerful, well-liked 15-year-old from South London. When his parents left him half-asleep in their living room armchair one Saturday morning in 1988 they thought he was off to a football match and they had no idea they’d never see him again. Lee went into Sutton town centre to meet a friend, but then disappeared.

In the early hours of May 11th 2006, 19-year-old Luke Durbin was captured repeatedly on CCTV after a night out in Ipswich. He seemed to be trying to find his way home but he had left his phone and wallet at a friend’s house, so taxis refused to take him and there were no buses or trains.

It’s the tenth anniversary of the disappearance of 35-year-old chef Claudia Lawrence who went missing from York in 2009. Claudia’s case swiftly became one of this century's most high profile investigations. It’s believed she set off from home to walk to work at 5am. Was she abducted en-route?
