Howard fights to keep an ex-NYPD police officer out of prison and convinces an old client to take a very generous plea deal. At home, we discover that Howard is an avid toy collector with hundreds of planes, trains and automobiles... something that drives his wife Marie to distraction.

Howard comes to the rescue of a young woman accused of shooting dead her husband. Meanwhile junior attorney Jonathan has been living in the office - and is now considering moving into an apartment owned by Howard and Marie. It seems like a good idea, at first.
