When the hospital botches up the identification of his son, a wealthy man Jaswant Singh is compelled to raise two boys, including a prostitute's son as his own. When the two grow up, they gradually develop differently; Raja takes up drugs and gambling while Ramesh remains sober and decent. Raja loves Asha, but Fate has different plans and the parents decide to get Asha married to Ramesh.
