When 150 children are stranded in Yei, South Sudan, Carolyn Figlioli must choose between her desperate need to come home to the United States, or sacrifice her return to rescue the children that have no one. She has no idea, war is about to ravage the land.

As the war in South Sudan escalates, Carolyn and the 150 children in her care are trapped between government forces and the rebel armies with no way out.

After violence escalates in their town of Yei and military forces set up battle stations at their Children's Home , Carolyn races against all opposition to get the 150 children across the border into Uganda and out of the line of fire.

After nearly losing her life, hundreds of prayer warriors contend for her life and she experiences miracle after miracle.
