One of the Boys

Lau goes on the traditional Man Camp for all the boys in the town, before starting high school. Lau has dreaded the trip for ages, but then he meets the new boy, Aksel, from Copenhagen.

The Man Camp is in full swing, and Lau tries to fit in and complete the challenges. Lau gets closer to the new boy, Aksel, as the pressure from popular soccer jock William intensifies.

After being humiliated, Lau distances himself from Aksel. He tries to sneak out at night with the others, in order to become one of the boys. But, it’s not easy trying to be someone you’re not.

Lau feels exposed and alone. William wants to teach Aksel a lesson for ratting on them and convinces Lau to take part. It’s planned to take place during the last challenge: the big night run.
