Baby Einstein Ocean Explorers

Meet Cal, Dean, Opus, Neptune, and Tinker on the SS Curiosity and sing along to the opening song "Ocean Explorers!" Join Cal, Opus, Tinker, and the crew to dive beneath the ocean's surface in a submarine to discover a familiar animal - a jellyfish! Supported by real-life footage, Opus teaches the crew the similarities and differences between octopi and jellyfish with the help of his friend, Janet. To celebrate their new discovery, Cal sings and the crew dances to "The Jellyfish Wiggle!"

Go ashore to learn about tidepools and the kinds of animals within them, like starfish and anemone! Cal compares opposites to understand what makes them different. Take a "Closer Look" to see real-life footage of a starfish and count the number of arms they have. Join the gang for the "Crab Walk" dance!

Board Zen's seaplane to go whale watching! Tinker calls Roxy to discover a whale has been spotted. Cal teaches the crew about their gigantic size as they count the number of mama whales compared to the number of baby whales. Take a "Closer Look" to see real-life footage of a whale and do the "Whale Peekaboo" dance!

Explore what one can find ashore! Tinker discovers sea shells, and the crew takes a "Closer Look" to learn how they are formed. Observing the shells, they draw connections to common shapes like triangles, squares, and circles. Inspired by the interesting shapes, Dean and the crew decorate a sandcastle with various shells as Cal sings "Patterns!"

Dive deep to learn about the kinds of homes in the ocean! The explorers take a "Closer Look" to see real-life footage of a coral reef. Observe the different colors and shapes of coral as Opus takes the lead to show what animals live in these different homes - like seahorses! Learn about their gills and sing along with "The Seahorse Song!"

Learn about octopi! Cal, Tinker, and Dean put on their dive helmets to meet Neptune and Opus to see an octopus change colors. Opus teaches the crew about his species and their ability to camouflage. The crew takes a "Closer Look" to see real-life footage of an octopus changing colors as if it's playing hide and seek. Inspired by science, Cal sings "Hide & Seek Song."

Join the explorers early in the morning to learn about baby sea turtles! Take a "Closer Look" and discover what sea turtle eggs look like. Neptune teaches the crew about the process for how they grow and eventually hatch. Tinker spots sea turtles near and far from the water and Cal sings the "Opposite Song".

Board the SS Curiosity to discover dolphins! Learn what bottlenose dolphins look like, how they communicate, and more. Take a "Closer Look" to see real-life footage of some dolphins. Dean drops his shell phone into the water while trying to call is mom to tell her about them. The explorers dive down to find the shell phone by working together. Cal sings a song about "Team Work".

Join Neptune and the explorers for a fun day of learning on the beach! Neptune spots some sea otters, so the crew takes a "Closer Look." They learn how otters interact with each other, use tools, and more. They also observe how the otters stack various objects like clam shells, and the crew mimics their actions. Cal sings "The Stacking Song".
