In 1983, a court ruling threatens Jan's grip on Kinnevik as the Stenbeck family feud erupts publicly. Scrambling to retain control, Jan faces declining health, growing pressure from Merrill - and a personal tragedy that changes everything.

In 1986, Jan takes on public TV, launching TV3 from London to disrupt Sweden's media monopoly. As he celebrates with Merrill in Stockholm, the birth of a new media era collides with a marriage on the brink - ambition comes at a personal cost.

In 1991, Jan runs Kinnevik from a farm in Luxembourg, battling rivals for Sweden's first ad-funded TV license. As his leadership grows autocratic, a live interview with TV host Stina Dabrowski threatens to unravel his carefully built media empire.
