Abner and Amanda try to teach their son, Joaquin, to do chores while adjusting to life off the road for the very first time. Abner's mom prepares a Cuban feast for her Welcome to Los Angeles party, and Johnnyswim begins working on their new album.

In an effort to get themselves and their friends back to work, Abner and Amanda organize a livestream concert from their backyard after not performing for months.

With a house full of women, Abner misses having other guys to hang with when his son, Joaquin, starts kindergarten. Later, Johnnyswim writes a coffee table book and welcomes a longtime friend and collaborator to the neighborhood.

Abner builds a chicken coop in the backyard with help from his friends and family. Then, Abner and Amanda struggle with writing their album at home.

Joaquin struggles to adjust to life at home, so Abner and Amanda throw a carnival like the ones they visit on the road. Johnnyswim writes a song inspired by Joaquin, and Abner becomes obsessed with the chickens.

Abner and Amanda take on the challenge of screen printing jean jackets to make their merchandise unique. Then, the book club throws an ornate, French-themed dinner party to celebrate a book most of them didn't read.

Abner and Amanda encourage Joaquin to channel his creativity into making his own movie.

Abner and Amanda do a backyard campout with the kids. With deadlines coming fast, Johnnyswim heads to the studio to record their latest album.
