When a rare white tiger cub goes missing from the Animal Park, Lexi, Lottie and Fred investigate. After tracing the theft to a school friend and fellow journalist of Fred's, they arrive too late, the tiger cub has run away. With a bit of 'animal profiling' and an important clue that Lottie pieces together, they finally track it down to the home of an old lady who thinks it's a kitten.

Camilla the gorilla at the Animal Park loves to paint, and her bright and colourful canvases are displayed outside her enclosure. When someone steals her paintings, Camilla goes into a decline. The Detectives and Fred soon find the art works for sale in a local gallery, but can't prove it was painted by a gorilla. So, with Camilla wasting away, they take extreme action and reclaim the art.

When a valuable violin goes missing in the Animal Park, the suspects include another violin player and a music shop owner. The Trusty Twin Detectives and Fred need to act fast to solve this crime, and find the missing violin before the sunset concert. Meanwhile, Lexi hilariously doubles for Lottie in the band so Lottie can concentrate on following the sound of the violin.

Lexi, Lottie and Fred's investigations around a missing pig lead them to a children's author who is writing a crime book with a pig as the main character. Unfortunately for Lottie, Augusta Ritchie, the pig thief is her favourite crime writer and becomes disillusioned by her hero and her unscrupulous research methods.

When Tammy the Turtle falls mysteriously ill, Lexi and Lottie suspect someone has poisoned her. However, after some super sleuthing, the girls soon realise that Tammy hasn't been poisoned after all. She has become sick as a result of Lexi forgetting to clean the tank's filter. Lexi learns a tough lesson in concentrating on what you are doing.

Lexi and Lottie, wearing panda costumes, try to earn money for a new panda enclosure by busking in town. At the same time, two crooks - also wearing panda costumes as disguises - are robbing a bank. The police chase Lexi and Lottie thinking they are the criminals and in the confusion, not only do the bags of money get switched but Lexi ends up with one of the criminal pandas.

It's the day of the school Science Fair and Lexi has a winner of a project. But when she overhears a plot to rob the school canteen, she's locked in a stationery storeroom and can't investigate the crime or show her science project! Can Lottie, Fred and Grandpa find Lexi, solve the robbery and the missing persons case, and cover the Science Fair for the school website without her?

There has been a particularly large litter of baby ermines at the Animal Park and Dad has organised for the neighbouring Uberwood Animal Sanctuary to adopt them. But Lexi and Lottie soon discover that it's a con. The ermines have been stolen by a man who is after their fur!

Charlie the naughty chimp goes missing from the Animal Park and a new kid at school gets mistaken for the escapee. Lexi is rather 'OTT' in her investigations, while Lottie becomes sensitive about being the 'serious' twin. So she disguises herself as Lexi to get information about what the kids at school really think of her.

Lexi and Lottie are fed up with being mistaken for each other and with being referred to collectively as 'the twins', so they decide to change their appearance so people can tell them apart and they stop working as a duo. When two kids' pets go missing, Lexi and Lottie each take a case and investigate it on their own and, as a result, vital clues get overlooked.

When a rare, red diamond - due to be auctioned off in the Animal Park's snake enclosure - is stolen, all the evidence points to Fred. Convinced their friend is innocent, it's up to Lexi and Lottie to sniff out the right clues and clear Fred's name. Lottie is upset with Fred because he caused her team to lose the Inter-school Soccer Tournament.

When clothes go missing from clotheslines across Appleton, the detectives are on the case. But the thieves are managing to leave no evidence at all. Meanwhile, Fred sells fudge at the local market to make money for a new camera. But this small businessman has big trouble thanks to some squirrels and a llama from the next stall. Could there be a connection?

The detectives are befuddled by a very arty attack on the Animal Park animals, and across Appleton, but a fake story published in the Appleton Telegraph flushes out the perps, some young art students seeking to make people look away from their phones. During the case our heroes ponder: where is the line between art and vandalism?

When it looks like sheep rustlers have struck, Lexi, Lottie and Fred investigate to find the real fraudsters, and reveal the clever trick they played. As our Detectives discover, it was the sons of the farmer, wanting to save their hand-reared sheep by giving them poodle haircuts and donating them to the Old People's Home in Appleton.

The Animal Park is raising funds to build Wildlife Crossing tunnels for hedgehogs and other wildlife to safely cross roads around Appleton, by selling cute plush toys of the wildlife. They are also rearing baby animals orphaned by car incidents. When the detectives discover lots of their plush toys are suddenly being returned, broken, they waste no time in investigating.

Pop diva Katerina Katt is set to perform at the Animal Park to raise money for it but when her real fur coat goes missing before the concert, anti-fur campaigner Lottie is the number one suspect and taken off the case! Lexi and Fred have to prove Lottie's innocence and find the coat, and they only have until sunset to do it, otherwise the concert won't go ahead.

When strange phenomena appear around Appleton - such as crop circles in the snow, flashing lights in the sky and sightings of little green men - Lexi believes they may be alien visitors. But Lottie is convinced they're man-made - and linked to a planned robbery of safe deposit boxes in a bank vault. The twins' investigation finds that the alien sightings have been faked using animals.

Lexi and Lottie investigate when Savannah, the Animal Park's usually docile elephant begins vandalising her enclosure and making low, rumbling sounds. The trusty twin detective and Fred soon discover Savannah is pining for her twin who is performing in a travelling circus in town. Will the detectives be able to convince the mean circus owner to release Savannah's twin?

While Lexi and Lottie's science class is on an overnight excursion in Witchwood Forest, a number of wild bird eggs are stolen. The girls investigate but when they run out of suspects, they start to question if the legendary ghost of Witchwood Forest is to blame.

Lexi and Lottie are hosting a reptile show at Appleton Fair. When Rufus the python is stolen, and six baby ducks go missing, everyone fears the worst, but it turns out the suspicious lumps in Rufus's belly are the pork and fennel sausages stolen from the organic butchers' stall. The baby ducks are led to safety in the pond with their mother and the python thieves are brought to justice.

When a keeper at the Animal Park goes missing it looks like a wild boar piglet might waste away as the poor little foundling has imprinted on him, and has stopped taking food. The Detectives and Fred follow the clues and search for him in a local forest. Fred mistakes Lottie for a bigfoot when she falls in the mud and he loses his glasses.

When Lexi & Lottie help Dad collect an old draft horse from Farmer Wong, they discover an old note in a saddlebag. It leads them on a clue-following cold case throughout Appleton in search of the missing sword from the town statue. When they reach a dead end, it's Grandpa's friend, Mr Hardy the ex-cop, who provides the next clue. He points them to Enid Wong, Farmer Wong's elderly mother.

When two chefs competing in Appleton's 'Supreme Chef' competition have their special sea vegetables - seaweed and samphire - stolen from their rooftop gardens, Lexi and Lottie investigate. As the girls hunt for the seaweed and samphire thief, they follow up on leads that turn into dead ends. Finally, with the help of Grandpa and Fred, they discover an illegal fish smuggler.
