Inspired by Akira's invitation, Haruma Riku joins the rugby team. However, their styles clash. In order to rectify his thinking, Riku begins teaching beginner Horyu Tomomi a secret strategy. Riku has Horyu challenge Akira to a one-on-one while the rest of the team watches.

The Soran High School rugby team is devoid of third-years. Riku, who found it odd, hears that the previous captain Nade Seiichiro quit playing rugby after an injury. After learning from second-year Oguma Keita about the circumstances of the time aside from the injury, Riku makes a certain decision.

In order to overcome their past and move forward, the Soran rugby team challenges their old rivals Sekirei High School to a practice match. However, they are handled proficiently by the second team led by Katashiro Yukiya. Can Haruma Riku and Kariya Akira's secret strategy defeat them...?

The tables are turned when Haruma Riku uses his tactics. Just before the match is decided, the members of Sekirei's first team return. Soran's members experience firsthand the strength of the Crimson King Asamiya Reo. What is the shocking and secret relationship between Riku and Reo—?

After finishing their game against Sekirei, the members of Soran decide to conduct a training camp so they can take them down. Meanwhile, their other rival schools begin preparing for the tournament. Fuyuhara Tori decides to meet with former captain Nade Seiichiro so they can win the tournament.

The tournament has begun. Soran's first opponent is Haizawa High School led by their unpleasant captain Yoshinaga. However, Soran demonstrates their difference in class, overwhelming Haizawa. Later, Shikuniyama, one of the Big Three, makes their appearance. No one doubted their victory, but...

Shikuniyama was defeated by Kinosaka High School led by Tenkawa Shogo. The brains of the team, Arimura Rinto, seems to have history with Haruma Riku. Arimura and Tenkawa show up at Soran's field. Arimura declares that he will defeat Riku, and Kariya Akira challenges Tenkawa...

Soran's match against Kinosaka has begun. Despite the pressure put on them by Tenkawa Shogo's power, Soran leads the score going into the second half. Arimura Rinto sends in Hazama, whose specialty is dirty play. The match begins shifting in Kinosaka's favor, and Arimura is certain he will win, but Haruma Riku chooses a certain course of action...

Soran advances to the finals, where Sekirei waits. Meanwhile, the defeated Arimura Rinto turns over a new leaf and invites Haruma Riku and Kariya Akira out to the park where he offers them a warning. On the way home, the two of them spot a surprising individual playing rugby on the field.

The game against Sekirei has begun. Soran just barely holds on going into the second half while withstanding Sekirei's fierce attacks. However, Haruma Riku collapses after suffering Sekirei's attacks, and Soran loses hope. Just then, one man rises from his seat in the stands.

When Haruma Riku wakes up, he sees Nade Seiichiro on the field. With the recovered Riku joining them, Soran runs down Sekirei. Using their final tactic, Riku and Kariya Akira take on Asamiya Reo. What will they see in the future they create together...?
