Leading up to his suspicious death, Legendary boxer Arturo Gatti rises from the boxing scene in Montreal, and begins his life as a pro fighter in New Jersey. But all is not what it seems under the surface of his glamorous life, and a troubling relationship begins to test his reality.

Found dead in a hotel room in Brazil, the reaction across the world is shock and suspicion. Friends and family refuse to believe the Brazilian coroners, and there are strange movements of wills and money surrounding his partner, Amanda Rodrigues. Private investigators are hired and reveal undocumented details.
