Davey & Jonesie's Locker

Davey and Jonesie lament over the dreariness of high school. Luckily, they have each other to rely on to get through the next two years. Unfortunately for them, the school’s principal, Debbie Neighbors, is concerned by their co-dependent relationship and inability to socialize with literally anyone but each other.

After jumping through a series of random universes, the portal finally breaks down, stranding Davey and Jonesie in a world where Sierra is the unquestioned ruler of the school based on an absurd hierarchy of coloured gems like something straight out of Logan’s Run. What’s worse, Davey and Jonesie seem to be her right-hand cronies, responsible for upholding her regime.

The girls arrive in a universe where music is strictly forbidden and the girls begrudgingly agree to blend in while Schneider fixes the portal.

Davey and Jonesie come through the locker and are quickly pulled by Emile into a press conference, where they learn that they’re in a Thunder-Dome-esque universe where they are mortal enemies who are expected to battle it out in a brutal grudge match later that day. After botching the press conference, Cheryl appears in record time but gets waylaid by Principal Neighbors.

Davey and Jonesie find themselves in a very familiar world…Fantasmanaria! The fantasy world they created when they were 8. The prince of this world, AKA Abbott, asks the girls to go on a quest to find the long-lost book of Fantasmanaria. Playing through the story that they wrote, the girls take a trip down memory lane, but things quickly become tense.

Davey and Jonesie end up in a universe that is eerily similar to their own - the big difference being that the only food anyone eats here is oranges. Such an easy world to blend into, and a great opportunity to get some vitamin C in. But Schneider intervenes, saying that he’ll have the portal up and running in an hour so they can just go to third period and then leave without eating any oranges.

Davey and Jonesie find themselves in a world exactly like Davey’s favourite soapy teen drama, Glimmerdale. Excited to play out the sexy teen storylines of her all-time favourite show, Davey is ready to dive into the familiar tropes of the world without question, but Jonesie warns that some of the universes they’ve been to haven’t turned out to be exactly as they appeared.

After a big argument over their irresponsible nature, the Schneiders threaten to turn Davey and Jonesie into M.O.M. Angry, and even a little hurt, the girls run off with the portal device and jump through the portal with it, which lands them in a universe that’s typically inaccessible. And which they quickly learn is the domain of an off-grid Schneider who has built a world in his image.

Davey and Jonesie arrive in a universe to find themselves completely alone in a version of the school that’s stranded in the middle of the ocean. At first they’re concerned, until they notice a half-eaten sandwich on Schneider’s desk, which means he must be close. With their worries assuaged, the girls take advantage of not having any rules to follow and enjoy having the school to themselves.

After being reunited with Schneider 6689, Davey and Jonesie are finally ready to go back home and face the music of the mess they left behind. But when Schneider tells them that the conditions have to be exactly the same as when they initially left, the girls realize there’s one small detail that’s different…they don’t have the mascot heads from their protest.
