999: Emergency Callout

The Kent Joint Response Unit is on standby for emergencies requiring urgent police and medical care. Paramedics and police officers travel in one high-performance vehicle. The team are called to a road traffic accident where a car's been rolled, but the driver's left the scene, reported to be drunk.

A 12-year-old boy is hit by a car at 50 mph on the Isle of Sheppey, and a man acting erratically at a drive-thru restaurant leads to a search and a surprise for the team when they find him. A car has crashed into a roundabout, leaving the passenger trapped in the wreckage.

The victim of a violent assault is bleeding uncontrollably. If paramedic Chelsea can't stem the bleeding, the victim could die within minutes. Special constable, Mike needs to find whoever carried out this brutal attack.

Rural Kent is shaken by a shooting and a village is flooded with firearms officers, as Joint Response paramedic Willow treats the victim, who's been shot in the leg. A man has had a cardiac arrest on a platform at Chatham railway station. And a man has fallen and broken his arm while walking his dog.

In Graveney, the JRU are tasked with trying to contain a cow on the loose on a 60-mph road. The JRU respond to reports of a driver unconscious at the wheel of his crashed car.  Whilst Paramedic Nathan attends to the man's medical needs, Special Sergeant Hannah makes a discovery and dramatic measures have to be taken.

A young man's narrowly escaped death as his car smashed into a wall, exploding in flames. Medic Nathan has to painfully realign his broken leg while Special Sergeant Hannah investigates the cause of the crash. Special constable Clive is trying to keep the scene of a road traffic accident safe for paramedic Ashye to check the patients.

A team rushes to help a baby in Sittingbourne who's having seizures.

A stolen car has crashed at high speed, leaving a trail of destruction in its wake. The driver has fled the scene, so police constable Ben needs to track him down whilst paramedic Lisa is concerned about injuries. There's also a mystery to be solved where a woman has been found unconscious in the back of a stranger's car.

A busy weekend evening sees JRU teams deal with two alcohol-related incidents: a suspected drunk driver who also seems to be under the influence of drugs and an elderly man who's toppled over after an evening at the pub. Plus, a DIY enthusiast has given himself an electric shock fixing a lamp and a car that has crashed and landed on its side in a country lane.

The Joint Response team are called to help an unconscious man who has serious facial injuries - but it turns out he's a known heroin-user who has allegedly been assaulted by someone who caught him breaking into his car. In Dartford a man's been hit and seriously injured by a van outside his house so Kevin needs to find footage from the neighbours as the van driver left the scene.
