Through Perez's leadership, we see the daily work of U.S. Marshals-apprehending fugitives, moving prisoners, guarding federal courts, conducting extraditions, and more.

The U.S. Marshals' ART team in California targets "armed and dangerous" fugitives, using stealth pre-dawn operations to capture them safely. When locations are uncertain, a plainclothes team steps in. Deputy Tony Burke, after an eight-month hunt, finally corners a drug ring leader in a crowded mall lot. After a two-year search, a tip places a cartel leader in Palm Springs. With only a car description, Marshals search 36 hours until a deputy spots the fugitive. A rookie tracks a bank robber, and a $40M fraud suspect is arrested. Across the U.S., agencies join forces in multi-agency task forces. In LA, the Marshals assist the Inglewood Police in tracking fugitives.

Tyrone Eley, wanted for murder in Brooklyn, is tracked to western Massachusetts with the Fugitive Task Force's help. Sirikus Origee, a parole violator, is caught through a stakeout. Reuben Keyera, a career criminal facing attempted homicide charges, resists arrest in Brooklyn. Ricardo Gomes, wanted for child molestation, may be spotted working in a Queens restaurant after two years on the run.

Andre Neverson is wanted for killing his sister and girlfriend in Brooklyn. The Fugitive Task Force tracks him down. Frank Cook, wanted on drug charges in Arizona, leads authorities to a Harlem building full of squatters but no fugitive. The next day, Cook calls the lead deputy. Other cases include two brothers' arrests and drugs and money found in an immigrant fugitive's apartment.

Clyde Tharpe ran over a cop in New Hampshire while escaping. The Fugitive Task Force tracks him to Long Island, arriving as he's leaving. Umberto Fernandez, sentenced for cocaine dealing, disappears before surrendering. Agents quickly locate him to prevent his escape. Andres Suarez, deported for drug dealing, illegally re-enters the U.S. and resumes dealing.
