The birth of Moses would mark the beginning of God's plan to free his people from 400 years of Egyptian slavery. The Hebrew people became so numerous in Egypt that Pharaoh began to fear them. He believed if an enemy attacked, the Hebrews might ally themselves with that enemy and conquer Egypt.

The crucifixion happens after Jesus' arrest at Gethsemane and trial before Pontius Pilate. Christians believe that Jesus was God in human form. They believe that after he died on the Cross on Friday, he went down to Hell to free the souls of the people who had died before Jesus' coming.

When Jesus rebukes the wind and the waves and they stop, Jesus is showing his divine control over nature. And he awoke and rebuked the wind and said to the sea, "Peace! Be still!" And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm. We see him needing rest as any person would and His divinity as he calms the storm.

The spirit led Jesus into the desert to be tempted by the Devil. After forty days and nights without food, Jesus was hungry. Jesus replied "Do not put the Lord your God to the test." Finally, the Devil offered Jesus all the kingdoms of the world in return for worshipping him.

This story, following the miracle of the feeding of the five thousand, tells how Jesus sent the disciples by ship back to the "other side" of the Sea of Galilee (the western side) while he remained behind, alone, to pray. After rowing against the wind for most of the night, the disciples saw Jesus walking on the water.

A prophet who has the ability to interpret dreams is sold into slavery in Egypt, where people learn of his gifts. When Joseph receives a beautiful coat from his parents, his ten brothers hate him even more, and are driven to sell him to desert merchants, who take him to Egypt.

Solomon is known for being the king of Israel who built the first Temple in Jerusalem. He was also the second (after his father, David) and last king of a unified Israel, which was at the height of its power during his reign. He is known for stories told in the Bible about his wisdom.

In the Parable of the Rich Man and Lazarus, the rich man does nothing while alive to help Lazarus, a poor beggar, and when he dies the rich man goes to Hell whilst Lazarus goes to Heaven. This parable sends the message that worldly and earthly possessions are of no benefit in the afterlife.

God wants to heal and restore your body to health. If you will allow the Holy Spirit to fill you, to flood you, to be diffused in Him, and you receive what God wants to do in you, then you will realize that you have been healed, delivered, empowered to prosper, have direction, and have His wisdom

The Prodigal Son, Jacob, leaves his father's farm to seek his fortune in the city. With a group of followers gathered about him, Jesus tells the parable of the Prodigal Son, Jacob, the younger son of a successful farmer, begs his father for his inheritance so he can go to the city and become a rich money lender.

According to the Bible, at around 1,400 BCE, Jericho was the first city attacked by the Israelites after they crossed the Jordan River and entered Canaan. The Wall of Jericho was destroyed when the Israelites walked around it for seven days carrying the Ark of the Covenant.
