Griff's Canadian Adventure

Celebrated British comedian Griff Rhys Jones starts his epic Canadian journey by visiting Newfoundland. He tries to get to grips with the hugeness of Canada by looking for moose, discovering the iron ore mining history of the area, shooting St John's time gun, sampling both traditional and unusual Newfoundland food and trying to behave himself at a traditional kitchen party.

Griff Rhys Jones continues his journey across Canada, heading to Quebec and Montreal to experience the French-Canadian way of life. This includes trying poutine, a delicious if calorific Canadian delicacy. He then gets a taste for maple syrup and tries to understand the nation’s obsession with ice hockey. He discovers that the history and culture of the area has helped shape multicultural Canada.
