A tidal wave of horror from Hollywood's movie producers hits the screens. It was a time when "special effects" were created and despite how "crude" they may seem today, they were "state-of-the-art" then and scared audiences who loved to scream to death.

The early 60's brought real fears to the minds of moviegoers as The Vietnam War, Civil Rights, and corrupt governments dominated. Horror films in color arrived with graphic sex, gore, violence and realism that pushed the limits. The Hammer Films studio in England arose and the Atomic Age of Hollywood died. Yet, many classic movies still thrill audiences today through the digital marketplace.
