Serwaa

Serwaa, a young lady in her early twenties born and bred in a rural area seeks to further her education and lifestyle in the city. Due to her naivety and unfamiliarity with the city lifestyle, Serwaa finds herself lost and is nearly taken advantage of.

Being save from the squatters, Serwaa is now at the home of Kathrine, her aunt but things are not going as she expects.

Even though Katherine and Ohemaa try to make Serwaa get conversant with life in the city, Big mama and Papa detest her presence of Serwaa in the house.

Serwaa ponders over the hush treatment she receives in the city and considers going back to her boyfriend in the countryside.

Serwaa run into Kwabena, a son to Papa's business partner, Mr. Owusu and it is a love at first sight.

Papa and Ohemaa clash over her relationship with Dela, a phone repairer. Big mama continues to lure Serwaa into traps for her to go back to the countryside.

Kathrine decides to take Serwaa's attempted rape case further. Quame, the houseboy and gatekeeper develops feelings for Serwaa.

Nat denies assaulting Serwaa and requests for charges against him to be dropped. Kwabena is no longer himself when his farther insists on his arranged marriage with Ohemaa.

Kathrine discovers a school for Serwaa to improve her grammar and to further her education. Ohemaa introduces her boyfriend, Dela to her parents to the chagrin of her father.

Serwaa finds out that her boyfriend in the village has a wife when her mother, Aunty Ama arrives.

Serwaa goes on secret dates with Kwabena despite Big Mama's plots against her. Katherine suspects something odd about Papa's behavior and confronts him about it.

Serwaa accepts to be Kwabena's girlfriend despite her situation at home. Dela takes a ransom from Papa and ends his relationship with Ohemaa. Valerie advices Ohemaa to use the opportunity to start a relationship with Kwabena.

Things between Serwaa and Kwabena become serious as they continue to spend time with each other. Kathrine discovers the inappropriate relationship between Papa and his secretary.
